Lapp Group inaugurated the Excellence Centre at the University Politehnica of Bucharest

On September 14th, under the slogan “The future is in your hands!”, Lapp Group inaugurated an Excellence Centre within the University Politehnica of Bucharest, at the Faculty of Electric Engineering. At the Excellence Centre the students shall be made familiar with the work modalities, processes and equipment to be found in an industrial environment.

Throughout the event, the students and guests could see the 10 work stations where there would be presented the latest integrated solutions for cables and connectivity technology.

The objective of the organizers is that this Excellence Centre become a landmark within the educational process, as it has already happened in India, Russia, Thailand, Singapore and the United States of America.

“Opening the Excellence Centre Lapp Group within the University Politehnica of Bucharest, we highly believe that we shall support the Romanian economy for its sustainable development, mainly in the industrial sector, by soundly preparing the future students in the field” said Dan Iona[, Sales and Marketing Director of Lapp Kabel Romania.

The Lapp Group Excellence Centre was initiated by Andreas Lapp, President of Lapp Holding AG in cooperation with the University Politehnica of Bucharest and partners: EPLAN, Rittal Sisteme, Bosch Rexroth, East Electric, Vergokan and Schafer.
